Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA, is a 360-acre, 512-room resort designed with the family in mind. Located at one of the most popular vacation destinations, this beautifully presented spot offers comfort, warm dry desert air, golf and tennis, striking scenery, health and fitness, and programs for kids.

The main attraction for kids is the 60-foot S-curved waterslide, which is also the focal point of the Biggest Splash Contest held every weekend. Start practicing early to win this one!

WESTIN KIDS CLUB is a year-round program and includes a special check-in packet and amenity for every child who stays at the resort.

CACTUS KIDS CLUB is designed for children aged 4 to 12. It includes activities such as arts and crafts and nature walks. Cactus Kids is offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. All activities are included in the fee of $35 for a full day. Lunch is available for an additional fee.

A multitude of children's activities are hosted throughout the holiday season, including marshmallow roasts and cookie decorating. There is even a special children's New Years Eve Party held adjacent to the adults' New Years Party, so there is no hassle to find a babysitter! Children's activities are also scheduled over holiday weekends such as Easter, the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

Both you and the kids will enjoy stargazing at the Westin Mission Hills. Many film, recording and TV stars come to this area to relax and rejuvenate.
