OK, OK, let's all admit this up-front: Teens are hard to please. They're too old for games and too cool for dances, so what do they want when they're vacationing with, of all people, their parents? Fun activities that let them socialize and have a little bit of freedom from Mom and Dad. And that's what The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort offers with their new LBK FLA Club for teens aged 12 to 17.

LBK FLA Club provides activities that teens are guaranteed to enjoy. It's difficult to get young people motivated or 'into' certain activities so we turned to activities such as cookouts on the beach, volleyball, tennis clinics, aerobic classes, trips to the movies, miniature golf, bowling and even a day trip to Tampa's popular water theme park, Adventure Island.

LBK FLA Club was recently added to The Colony's extensive children's programs. The program provides a variety of day and evening activities for teens both at the resort and at some of Sarasota's hotspots including the mall and the skating rink.

The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort is on a 12-mile barrier island and consists of 235 villa suites, each fully equipped with a European-style kitchenette and private balcony. The resort's major attractions include 21 tennis courts, private gulf beach, men's and women's health spas, fitness center, watersports center and complimentary children's program.
