CABOT BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK Malpeque. On Route 20, about 16 km north of Kensington. RED POINT PROVINCIAL PARK Red Point. On Route 16 (902) 357-3075 13 km east of Souris. Ocean beach, kitchen shelter, fireplaces, playground and dumping station. Three-way sites designed for large recreational vehicles. Bilingual services (English/French). 7-acre campground with 24 un-serviced sites, 12 sites with electricity and water and 34 sites with electricity, water and sewer. BUFFALOLAND PROVINCIAL PARK Milltown Cross. On Route 4 6 km south of Montague. Picnic tables provided. A lengthy boardwalk leads to a wooden deck where display pedestals provide information about buffalo and white-tailed deer. The deck overlooks a 100-acre enclosure where herds of these animals graze. Open year round, daily. LORD SELKIRK PROVINCIAL PARK Eldon. Off Trans-Canada Highway (902) 659-7221 About 2 km east of Eldon. Bay beach, clam digging, laundromat, kitchen shelter, fireplaces, dumping station. Additional fee for use of pool and miniature golf. Friday night variety concerts. Volunteer performers welcomed. 50-acre campground with 46 un-serviced sites and 26 sites with electricity and water. PANMURE ISLAND PROVINCIAL PARK Panmure Island. Laundromat, beach house with changing rooms/showers, kitchen shelter, fireplaces, canteen/supply store, dumping station, boat-launching area. 100-acre campground with 22 un-serviced sites and 16 sites with water and electricity, plus facilities. BURDENELL RIVER (NORTON) PROVINCIAL PARK Roseneath. On Route 3 (902) 652-8966 About 5 km west of Georgetown. Recreation and interpretive programs for children and adults. Children's day camp. Also, 18-hole championship golf course, tennis, lawn bowling, canoe/boardsailing, sea kayaking, marina, boat tours, horseshoes and horseback riding.
