In a spectacular mountain valley with lush green meadows bordered by heavily timbered slopes and rushing mountain streams, Wapiti Meadow offers a beautiful, home-like retreat with all the amenities of civilization. Located in central Idaho on the border of the River of No Return Wilderness, our limited number of adult guests allows us to individualize activities and services. There are four private, comfortably furnished cabins, three with two bedrooms and one with a single bedroom, with living rooms, baths, and kitchens. Twin Peaks Ranch offers a rare combination of outings to provide the adventurous all of the breathtaking excitement of the Northern Rockies. On the river that runs through it-the Salmon-you dig in your paddle to pull together to pilot your river raft and/or inflatable kayak so another day you can run some of the whitewater rapids of the River of No Return. Entertainment includes line dancing and sing-alongs with a live western band. Nestled in the rugged Salmon Rockies amongst towering peaks, this 2850-acre ranch forms part of Idaho's majestic "Scenic Byway." The Teton Ridge Ranch is located on the western slopes of the Tetons at the foot of the Grand. The ranch comprises 4000 acres, its northern and eastern border adjoining the Targhee Forest and Jedediah Smith Wilderness. The most popular summer activities are guided horseback rides, two- to five-day pack trips, wilderness hikes, fly fishing, soaring and excursions to Yellowstone. A variety of breathtaking trail rides on mountain wise horses await you in the heart of the majestic Teton Mountains. Our seasoned wranglers provide personal guidance to both experienced and beginning riders. Other activities include covered wagon rides an evening at the Jackson Hole Rodeo, and a scenic float on the Snake River. Fishing, activities for even tiny tots and overnight pack trips can be arranged. Hearty, home-cooked meals with a western-flavor are served family-style in the main lodge dining room.
