HORSEBACK MOUNTAIN EXCURSIONS IN SYRIA, VIRGINIA
Join in for a day or half-day of trail riding at Graves Mountain Lodge. Full-day riders will enjoy riding through the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. They will pack lunches and return to the lodge by 5pm for a full day of "pleasure riding." Half-day riders will ride the mountain trails and valley areas near the lodge. Wildlife sightings are abundant on these rides.
If you want to ride but can't fit a half- or full-day into your schedule of activities at the lodge, try short rides. These rides take you on beautiful mountain trails across rambling streams and through orchards. Rides average about an hour in length. They depart the stables daily at 9 and 11am and 1, 3 and 5pm.
Ride by horseback to a rustic log cabin for wilderness experience. Two- to three-day trips available.
