CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
This recipe for chocolate chip cookies is simply the best. It makes enough to feed a small, hungry army.
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 cups butter
4 eggs
3 cups oatmeal
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
4 cups flour
3 cups chopped nuts
24 oz. chocolate chips
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, and blend well. Add dry ingredients, vanilla, chips and nuts. Refrigerate overnight.
Roll into golf ball size. Place on cookie sheet 2" apart. Press down slightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 9 minutes.
