CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon milk
1/3 cup powdered cocoa (unsweetened)
1-1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375.

Beat the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar, mix well. Add the egg and the vanilla, mix well. Add the milk, mix well. Add the powdered cocoa, mix well. Then, mix in the flour, salt, baking powder and (guess what?) mix well. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Place teaspoon-size balls on non-stick cookie sheet and cook until just barely firm, about 7 to 10 minutes. Let set one minute on cookie sheet, then cool slightly on rack.

Best when served warm.
