Dough keeps up to 10 days in the refrigerator. Wrap well in waxed paper.
RASPBERRY WALNUT BARS
Shortbread Base:
Combine 1-1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
Press into bottom of greased 9" square pan.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Remove and spread with 1/2 cup raspberry jam.
Mix the following ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tspn vanilla
2 Tbsps flour
1/8 tspn salt
1/8 tspn baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
Spread over jam. Return to oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
