Light -- Half an hour outside at the appropriate time of day helps your body to adjust to the new time zone, even if it's overcast. Avoid looking directly at the sun, and if you have to go outside at a time when you are supposed to be avoiding outside light, wear dark sunglasses which filter the harmful rays of the sun.
