There are 65 acres of beautiful meadows, views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and, of course, Bear Creek meandering through the meadows. All of the accommodations feature outdoor decks with incredible views of the surrounding meadows, mountains and frequent wildlife sightings. They also include romantic fireplaces, in-room snack center with refrigerator and much more. There are two cabins for those who want to be just a short walk from the Lodge. These duplex-style cabins boast king-size, four-poster beds; four have Whirl-Jet tubs for complete relaxation. Bear Creek Lodge offers a unique dining experience for lodge guests as well as others visiting the McCall area. Fare is contemporary Northwestern. You will have choices which include the freshest seafood, smoked chicken, herb crusted rack of lamb and delicious pastas. The menu is limited and changes daily. You will have access to a variety of activities, depending on the season. The staff will assist you in making reservations for such activities as "Snow Cat Skiing," world-class river rafting, guided fishing trips, golfing at one of the area's beautiful courses, llama day picnic hikes and much more. The cross-country skier will have access to the lodge's 65 acres, which adjoin groomed Forest Service trails and the "little Ski Hill" trails. For the snowmobilers, right across the highway is the U.S. Forest Service snow park, which gives you access to all of their trails. Also, if you need to work on your machine, there is a shop area that can be made available to you.
