CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT 409 Main Street Niantic, CT 06357 (860) 691-1111 E-Mail: cmsect@aol.com The Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut is an educational facility designed to give children the opportunity to discover their world through activity which is meaningful to them. Containing three exhibit areas, the Children's Museum invites children to learn by using real and imaginary props. Themes include: science, safety & health, culture & history, and the arts. Activities are appropriate for children ages 1-12, although adults will also find them interesting. The Children's Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 9:30am-4:30pm; Fridays until 8pm; Sunday 12 noon-4pm. Closed on Tuesdays. The Children's Museum is open on Mondays during school vacations, e.g. Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, etc. and is open seven days per week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
