A delightful meal in The Dining Room, with its expansive view of Boston's Public Garden, might begin with caviar, followed by poached salmon with lobster sauce, then a pear sorbet; as an entree, a rack of lamb with vegetables; and for a sweet conclusion, a sky-high chocolate souffle. The wine cellar contains 10,000 bottles--you will undoubtedly find one you like.
Tea is served daily in the Lounge, and after-dinner cigars and cognac are a nightly ritual. The clublike Bar, with its glowing fireplace and rich warm panelling, is a Boston favorite.
