For two generations, family-owned Crystal Mountain Resort has been a destination for winter sports enthusiasts. Their 23 downhill runs give you a choice ranging from wide-open groomed runs to trails through trees.

SKI SCHOOL PROGRAMS

There are group and individual lessons for both downhill and cross-country skiing. The snowboard starter clinic provides private or semi-private sessions for beginning riders.

KID STUFF

Piglet's Nursery is offered daily from December 16-March 16 for infants to 2 1/2 year olds. Pooh's Mountain Midgets for 3-4 year olds is offered daily from December 16-March 16-a unique ski and childcare program. Lessons include custom-fit equipment at facility, no lift ticket required. Innovative indoor pre-ski area and protected outdoor terrain. For first-time skiers or those unable to do a snowplow stop. Crystal Critters for ages 5-6 is offered daily December 9-March 24 offers on-slope lessons and activities. Includes lift ticket during program only. Crystal Kids for ages 7-12 is offered daily December 9-March 24. Playful yet challenging skier development programs featuring instructors who specialize in teaching youth.

SNOWBOARDING

Snowboarding is allowed on all hills, although the Boarder Zone give riders an opportunity to try out a variety of skills. It gives them a place to do their tricks and aerial maneuvers in a designated area, separated from the rest of the resort's cruising terrain.

ICE SKATING

There is an outdoor rink open daily.
