You don't have to be fisherman to enjoy crab season in the City by the Bay. From now through February 28, 2002, crab season at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf is in full swing and the Best Western Tuscan Inn invites guests to join in on the fun by taking advantage of the new Crab Mania Package.

Located in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, the Tuscan Inn immerses visitors in the excitement of crab season while also providing the ideal venue to indulge in the sights of San Francisco. Priced at $175.00, the Crab Mania Package includes:

  • Deluxe guestroom accommodations
  • A certificate for a complimentary crab cake appetizer at the Franciscan Restaurant located on Pier 43 1/2
  • A coupon packet for selected shops and attractions on Pier 39
  • For the kids or the young at heart, a souvenir Chris the Crab toy to enjoy at home
  • Complimentary coffee, tea and biscotti served daily in the lobby
  • General Manger's fireside wine reception from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. each evening in the lobby

Upon departure, guests will also receive a package from Alioto-Lazio Fish Company, located near the hotel, complete with two whole dungeness crabs (cracked and cleaned), clam chowder and sourdough chowder bread. The Crab Mania Package is based on single or double occupancy, requiring a minimum two-night stay, and is subject to availability. Package price does not include tax and doesn't apply to groups or any other discount.
