WELCOME TO BETHEL'S WINTERFEST IN JANUARY

Scheduled for January 31 through February 9, the Bethel, Maine Winterfest kicks off with a 'rubbing elbows' party at the Great Grizzly Steakhouse and Pub on Friday night. Also on the first weekend, area chefs do ice sculptures on the Bethel Common that remain during the entire 10-day celebration. There is also a Saturday night concert at the Sunday River Ski Resort and a progressive lunch on skis and snowshoes at Carter's Cross-Country Ski Center on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the final weekend of the Winterfest there will be a cross-country ski race at Gould Academy, more concerts and entertainment and the Great Snowbox Derby will be held at the Bethel Inn.
