| UFO:
Unbelievable Floating Objects will provide a worldwide adventure, taking guests
from the coast of South Carolina to distant places in the Pacific Ocean and Sea
of Cortez, and continuing to the shores of the Mediterranean and down to Australia.
This dazzling array of exhibits explores coastal habitats and engages, entertains
and educates guests about the variety of aquatic life found around the world.
Ecosystems on display include mangrove forests, sea grass beds, coral reefs and
continental shelves. Focusing on various "rhythms" and behavioral patterns, UFO
(Rhythms of the Coast) will highlight unusual facts such as the "daily rhythms"
for a garden eel, which includes emerging at sunrise, socializing in the morning
and then taking a siesta at noon approaches. At the "Rhythms of the Rain" display,
guests will learn about the nesting pattern for a saltwater crocodile and how
wet weather triggers breeding of small fish-food essential for newborn crocodiles.
