For family reunions, the Arizona Biltmore staff can help guests plan a Family Scavenger Hunt that takes all the different members of your family on an exciting search around the resort. The scavenger hunt can be timed to end at the Squaw Peak Lounge where the pianist performs your family's favorite songs. Additionally, the Biltmore will assist you in having a professional photographer snap a family portrait on the resort's picturesque grounds. If your family would like additional fun and games, the resort can also set up a family chess tournament on the oversize outdoor board, or a croquet tournament on the lawn. What makes the Arizona Biltmore uniquely family friendly is its variety "with something appealing to every family member, young and old" including various cafes and restaurants, eight swimming pools, two 18-hole championship golf courses, 18-hole putting course, seven tennis courts, basketball, hiking, biking, children's activities programs, poolside activities, spa programs for kids and teens as well as adults, and more. The family dog is welcome too with the resort's 'Preferred Pet Pals' program of special amenities, menus and more for fido. Guests may also opt for the Cottage accommodations which feature large, enclosed grassy yards where dogs can roam at leisure and play outdoors, something few other luxury resorts can provide. The resort's 39 acres of grounds also offer an array of grassy, outdoor places for pets to play. There is no charge for the Family Scavenger Hunt and tournaments. The Family Photo Package is $300.00 and includes professional photographer, setting, film, processing and set of proofs. Portraits are an additional cost. GoBabies, Inc., (http://www.GoBabies.com) recommends the Kids Korral at the Arizona Biltmore to entertain your tiny travelers. The large playground is covered with a canvas canopy and features a rubberized floor to protect children from the sun and heat. Small children also will enjoy the Cabana Club for its kid's menu and view of the 95-foot waterslide. Next: JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT» Visit FamilyTravelGuideS.com for more great articles like these!
