MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE
Lake Mohonk, New York

LOOKING FOR AN INTERESTING FAMILY FRIENDLY ESTABLISHMENT?
LOOK NO FURTHER THAN MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE

Mohonk Mountain House, a National Historic Landmark destination resort in the Hudson Valley region of New York State, is only 90 miles north of New York City. Since 1869, this Victorian castle has hosted generations of guests in its unique setting - thousands of acres of unspoiled scenery, spectacular cliffs, sixty-foot deep Skywater lake, and enchanting gardens all beckon visitors much as they did 132 years ago. Whether one is interested in hiking, history, nature, theme programs, or simply in need of a getaway, Mohonk has something to offer.

Mohonk Mountain House's Full American Plan overnight rates include three meals a day, plus Afternoon Tea and Cookies, along with most theme program activities available free of charge. Complimentary recreation activities include 90 miles of hiking with guided hikes daily, tennis, boating, lake swimming, mid-week golf, and fitness classes; cross-country skiing on 35 miles of groomed trails, snowshoeing and ice skating in winter, weather permitting. Horseback riding, carriage rides, weekend golf, and spa services are available at an additional charge.

A full resort facility, Mohonk has 261 guestrooms, five guest cottages, three spacious dining rooms, 150 working fireplaces, 200 balconies, and six parlors. The grounds feature gardens, 125 scenic summerhouses, a greenhouse, picnic areas, a museum, a nine-hole golf course, tennis, stables, sports facilities, trails, and an observation point known as Sky Top Tower.
