WILD ANIMAL PARK SAN DIEGO WILD ANIMAL PARK CAMPING Visitors to the San Diego Wild Animal Park in San Diego, California, can embark on a primitive overnight camping experience in the Roar and Snore program available during the summer months. Campers sleep in tents at Kilima Point, a grassy area overlooking the Park's East Africa enclosure; to the left of the campground are the elephant and tiger yards. The East Africa enclosure is bordered by a fence, but rhinos, giraffes and gazelles can meander within a few feet of campers' sleeping grounds. | ![]() |

Guests are given tent accommodations, dinner, campfire snack, pancake breakfast, camp activities, a private Wgasa Railway tour and the opportunity to enjoy the San Diego Wild Animal Park the next day.
