13th ANNUAL EXETER REVOLUTIONARY WAR FESTIVAL MARCHES
INTO TOWN JULY 19, 2003
The 13th annual Exeter Revolutionary War Festival, happening Saturday, July 19 in Exeter, New Hampshire celebrates the extraordinary deeds of ordinary 18th century citizens. From reading original drafts of the U.S. Constitution and the
Declaration of Independence, talking history with New Hampshire statesman John Taylor Gilman and his family, to listening to 18th century music and strolling through Colonial and British troop encampments, the Festival
offers a glimpse at life during the Revolutionary War. Festival hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; admission is free, but fees are charged for certain events.
