SUMMER FAMILY ECO-CAMP IN PARADISE

Tiskita Jungle Lodge, a remarkable private rainforest reserve on the remote southern tip of Costa Rica, introduces a new one-week family camp program for the summer of 2001. The Tiskita Family Camp is designed to offer fun and educational activities for families interested in experiencing Costa Rica's culture, adventure, wildlife and at the same time developing a life-long interest in nature and conservation.

The Tiskita Family Camp will operate from now through September 1st 2001. The entire family will enjoy Tiskita's " rustic luxury" accommodations, friendly staff and its unique environment while learning and experiencing the wonders of nature. Camp activities include arts & crafts using natural resources, bird watching, horseback riding and science projects.

Teaching guests to appreciate the tremendous diversity of this tropical rainforest reserve includes special programs that have been developed for the campers, such as "Nocturnal Survey of Insects of the Tropical Rainforest," "Epiphyte Diversity in the Tropical Rainforest," "Behavioral Observation of Lizards," and "Ethi-Thinking." Each lesson contains objectives, step-by-step procedures, explanations of appropriate theories and a final evaluation questionnaire.

Tiskita Family Camp is a 9-day/8-night package from Friday to Saturday starting at $925.00 per person. Rates for children under 12 are $745.00 for the 1st child and $645.00 for the 2nd child. Children under 8 years old must be cleared in advance with the camp director. The package includes:

• First night stay in San Jose, Costa Rica at Hotel Milvia
• Daily meals and tropical fruit drinks
• Camp activities and events
• Hotel, airport & arrival transfers
• Round-trip flights from San Jose to Tiskita
