Back for the summer line-up is Ice cream Making on Saturday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. Open to the public, families can learn first hand how to make ice cream from Executive Pastry Chef Markus Bohr - who makes all the ice creams and sorbets for the resort. After the lesson, participants can build their own ice cream sandwiches and sundaes. Price is $25.00 per person and includes chef hats. Other family activities include stargazing on Saturday evenings from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., daily fish and duck feeding, family yoga, cactus garden tours, and a close-up look at the resort's multi-million dollar collection of art and antiques each Sunday at 1:00 p.m. For the aquatically inclined, water volleyball, basketball and aerobics are among the many water-oriented activities on tap. Water buffs can make a splash in one of nine pools or slide down the resort's 165-foot water slide.
The Phoenician is offering standard-view guestrooms starting at $179.00 a night, Sundays through Thursdays; and starting at $219.00 on Fridays and Saturdays - over a 70% savings from winter rates!
