Canada have found a way to teach children interesting concepts on the environment, while having the time of their life. With the A Bug's Life program at Fairmont Kenauk, mosquitoes, flies, bees and caterpillars are far from being annoying, in fact these creepy crawlers can even become the highlight of a child's stay. The experience, a short informative session on area insects given outside by a Fairmont Kenauk guide, is followed by a fantastic quest where children look for the critters they just learned about. A Bug's Life program can be added to any of Fairmont Kenauk's summer packages including the Summer Family Vacation package. This getaway includes three night's accommodation in a fully-equipped secluded cabin, private rowboat and canoe for use during stay, guided tour of the property's trout hatchery, family pass to the sports facilities at Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, and a nature walk guided by the hotel's naturalist. The three-night package starts from $503.00 for two adults and two children.
