TURTLE BAY RESORT OFFERS NORTH SHORE FAMILY ADVENTURE PACKAGE

The newly renovated Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii announces its 2004 North Shore Family Adventure package. Turtle Bay Resort is the only full-scale resort on Oahu's exciting North Shore, home of world-famous surfing, remote coastlines and fun activities for the entire family.
After a $60 million renovation, Turtle Bay now has something to entertain every age category - golf and tennis, spa treatments, horseback riding, a heated family pool with a slide, a shallow keiki (child) pool, and miles of walking and exploring trails along spectacular coastlines and through forested lands. In addition, the Resort is the home of the famous Hans Hedemann Surf School where kids of any age can get a taste of the world's best surf. Bragging rights for every family member come as a part of the North Shore Family Adventure Package.

Included in the package is the Turtle Bay "Keiki Club," the resort's program for children from five to 14. The Keiki Club offers reef walks, Hawaiian arts and crafts, trail walks, traditional coastline fishing with a bamboo pole, turtle watching, crab hunts, beach volleyball---all topped with a bonfire at the resort's Sand Bar snack bar with marshmallows and storytelling. An unforgettable experience will be the hayrides with Tom and Jerry, the resort's two Belgian draft horses who gained their fame "starring" in the Kevin Costner film, Open Range. For those nine years and older, horseback rides are also offered. Activities vary daily and are subject to change.

The 5-night family package is $1,750.00 and includes

  • Deluxe Oceanview room for two adults and two children (age 11 and under)
  • Four days of Keiki Club (surfing lesson, tennis serve and play, golf lesson and nine holes of play) for two children
  • Family horseback outing along the Turtle Bay coastline (kids must be nine years old)

Package price is for a family of four. Room taxes and resort fee are additional. The $12.00 daily resort fee includes one hour snorkel equipment rental per day for one person; access to Fitness Club; complimentary in-room safe; one hour of free tennis court time each day; unlimited local phone calls; complimentary in-coming faxes; in-room coffee or tea; Monday - Friday newspaper delivery to the room; complimentary overnight self-parking, and access to the free Internet service in the "Turtle Den" just off the lobby.
