WOODSTOCK WOODSTOCK WASSAIL WEEKEND 2003 'Wes hal,' which means be hale (hearty) once echoed in the timbers of English pubs. From December 12-14, 2003 it will reverberate in Vermont's Green Mountains as Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2003 upholds a traditional pre-solstice revelry with more than a whiff of an old-fashioned Christmas, a parade of Medieval-garbed equestrians, bonfire revelries, tree lighting and much more.

Woodstock, an ideal hub for exploring wintry Vermont on skis, sleds and snowshoes, is 10 miles off of I89 on Vermont Rt. 4. Woodstock is designated one North America's prettiest towns thanks, in part, to an aesthetic sensibility that years ago sent power and telephone lines underground and to a civic pride that cherishes its historic buildings and nearly 250-year history. For details on Woodstock's Wassail Weekend please contact the Chamber at office@woodstockvt.com. GoBabies will be delighted by "A Child's Magical Wonderland," with Santa, a parade of riders, carriages and wagons, an exhibit of rare horses, caroling around the Yule log, and the lighting of the Memory Tree, reports GoBabies, Inc., www.GoBabies.com.
