Maine's quintessential New England community rolls out the red carpet for visitors during the annual Bethel Country Christmas from Nov. 23 through Dec. 24. Remember ice-skating on the common, the Living Nativity and family fun? It's all available during Bethel's celebration. There are also open houses, musical performances including the Community Messiah Sing, horse-drawn wagon rides and special holiday sales at area shops.
The activities kick off with a special Thanksgiving dinner at Sunday River Ski Resort.
