LIGHT NIGHTS ON THE MAGNIFICENT MILE
Transform Winter Blahs into Winter 'Ahhhs' with Light Nights on Chicago's Magnificent Mile Winter gardens will be illuminated with color and light as The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA) presents Light Nights on The Magnificent Mile from December 31, 2003 - February 29, 2004. This display will include a 14-block installation of winter gardens transformed with illuminated sculptures from the Chicago River to Oak Street. The event will feature a spectacular fireworks show over the Chicago River at Michigan Avenue every Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. The luminous sculptures and weekly fireworks will complement 'lighter' prices and 'lighter' crowds at favorite shopping, dining, hotel and entertainment venues along Chicago's Magnificent Mile®.
