won't be. At Killington,
Vermont the Rams Head Family Center and Killington's family programs simplify
family ski and snowboard vacations, the major reason Family Fun readers picked

Family Terrain
The family-friendly terrain at Rams Head is serviced by four lifts. The Magic Snow Play Park is an enclosed learning area just for kids. The Magic Carpet lift helps little legs up a gentle slope for an easier learning experience. As they progress, young skiers and snowboarders graduate from the Magic Carpet to the Snow Play Park's two handle-tow lifts. The Rams Head Express Quad carries an entire family of four to the blue square and green circle trails on Rams Head, including Timberline and the Fusion Zone Squeeze Play, an intermediate tree zone. Also at Rams Head is Easy Street and the End Zone. Easy Street is a kids-only terrain park. The End Zone offers a simple way for kids to become comfortable skiing in gladed terrain.

Family ski weeks help families save on their vacation while
enjoying wide-open weekday slopes. Killington's Kids Ski and Snowboard Free program
allows children 12 years old and younger to ski or ride free the same number of
days as their parents when parents purchase a lift ticket for five or more days.
This offer is available all season and on a one-to-one basis with one free child
per paid parent. This package is not available during holiday periods. In addition,
a family of four with two children ages 12 and under can spend five days and five
nights at Killington from $693.00 with lift tickets and lodging in a one- bedroom
condo.
Perfect Kids' children's programs offer gentle, caring fun for the youngest and excitement for the older kids. Families can choose either full-day programs (which include lunch) or half-day programs. Children 6 weeks through 6 years old can play all day at the Friendly Penguin Nursery and Day Care Center. This facility is state-licensed and fully-equipped with age-appropriate toys and games.
First Tracks gives children 2 through 3 years old a chance to make their first turns. This introduction to skiing combines indoor and outdoor play time. Rental equipment is included. Reservations are required.
Ministars and Lowriders programs are designed to build confidence and reinforce the strengths of skiers and snowboarders 4 through 6 years old. Killington's special kids' Pros know how to use games, obstacle courses and other activities to make learning to ski and snowboard a blast.
Superstars, for children 7 through 12 years old, puts skiers and riders into groups according to age and ability and uses a strength-building approach to introduce them to a lifetime of skiing.
